"In relation to your request and to not delay further, I can confirm that having had confirmation from the named Council staff, Mary Harpley, Mike Jordan, Sunny Desai, and Jagdish Sharma, they do not hold any emails on the topic of Watermans future location. We also do not hold any meeting minutes on this topic." This is what I love about this Freedom of Information Act. It's pointless. When it was introduced every civil servant was given training on deleting emails (from the in box, deleted box, sent items and history box) so that responses could be given to requests saying exactly what has been said in this response, i.e, "do not hold any emails". That doesn't mean there weren't any. It just means they don't exist on a computer anymore. And why aren't there any minutes from meetings? Is it because there were no meetings or because they forgot to take any (which is extremely unlikely)? |
