That's quite strong coming from someone who described the Keens as "champagne socialist parasites". Regarding the other candidates, I've had really very little to say against Andrew Dakers. Personally, I wouldn't vote for him but at least he did have the decency to vote against the nasty and vindictive cut to Hounslow Language Service, which hits the vulnerable and which you voted for whilst at the same time pocketing £25,000 a year for discharging your "voluntary" council duties. Nor can I remember ever saying anything against Green candidate John Hunt. So your complaint must be based upon the fact that I have criticised Mary Macleod over the fact that her campaign is being bank-rolled by billionaire Lord Ashcroft, who does not pay tax as the rest of us do, but who quite happily sits in our House of Lords and passes the laws that the rest of us have to live by. If anyone has got his snout in the trough, it's Ashcroft, who earns easily enough to pay his fair share of tax - but I've yet to hear you put up a convincing defence of his actions. |
