| Stephanie - trust me,(a) I know what my collection day/week is and which week is plastics and which week is garden refuse (b) I know how to ensure plastics are placed in the white bag and are not mixed in with cardbords, glass, tins etc etc (c) I always complete the online complaints form. There are other reasons with which I have previously been provided by the COuncil (a) contractor forgot (b) contractor was too busy (c) contractor couldn't gain access to our Road (yeah right) (d) contractor told them they had collected and only when residents took photos could it be proved that the contractor was telling porkies However, the good news is that the Council contacted me this morning to advise that the contractor would collect tomorrow (no reason was provided on why they didn't collect yesterday) and then the Council contacted me again today to advise that the plastics have now been collected. I have checked and they have indeed been collected. Lets see if it happens again in two weeks!! |
