I too find several of the stops, at best, scary to use, and at worst plain dangerous. I’m a driver, walker, runner, and a cyclist.  We’re also training a guide dog puppy, so I really do encounter these bus stops in every which way. I complained to Hounslow Highways before the works were completed. Initially said they’d respond fully within 10 days, but then delayed doing so for over 10 weeks, and by which time the works were largely completed. In any event their view was that I (and all others who think these stops are problematic) are wrong. In the council election this year Theo Dennison stood on a commitment that he would get rid of these floating bus stops, and got my vote (and seemingly many and sufficient others) based on that pledge alone. I thought I’d give him a year. If we still have them in the spring of ’26 he won’t get my vote again. Here’s hoping…
