I think there is only one bus stop in Brentford which entails getting on/off the bus into the actual bike lane. That one is near enough opposite the Musical Museum. It's not great, I have to say. Of greater concern, due to the number of them, are the ones where you need to cross a mini-zebra crossing to get to/from the bus stop. I have known cyclists to stop - as they should - but it is safer on the whole to just let those who will steam through. I find the bus stop opposite Waterman's one of the most 'difficult' due to lack of seating. I haven't exactly done the measurements, but I think there would be near enough the same room for seating there as there is at the bus stop opposite i.e. outside Waterman's. |
