| Yes, this is 'smart motorways' all over again. Why is it Joe Public can see the glaring problems with these ideas and the so-called experts can't? Why not have a couple of trials of these 'floating bus stops' in very busy areas for a while - then consult properly with people, and then either tweak, or dependent on the results, not proceed? Why spend all that money without testing? Most of us could see an accident waiting to happen but what do we know? |
