| Plenty of daily year in year out cyclists who abhor the methods and politics of the London Cycling Campaign and the Hounslow version. Went on a few excursions over the last couple of years with a few pals. In the main, all were quite pleasant with a few exceptions. Safer Cycling representatives who lead cyclists out on routes and break the law make illegal and dangerous manoeuvres, No lights bells or hand signals, Do not look properly before moving out. Have members who deliberately antagonise other road users and think it's clever. Pure Brainwashers and a damned shame so many cannot think for themselves and see through the guff. They do not represent all cyclists anymore than Bus Drivers represent taxi drivers. If theres one thing that really is needed it is for a return to Police Instructors overseeing cycling Training for ALL children under 15 and all adults who never did any form of Road Cycling Proficiency when they were younger. The real problem is with Cyclists and other cyclists. Not much better than with safe drivers and the few idiots who are not and are a danger to all. Funny how none of these groups vehemently promote serious Cyclist safety from the riders perspective. |
