| That's really daft if I may say so. Ruth - and/or any other MP has little or no influence over a local authority. This current situation has been caused by the daft Transport Minister, Shapps, making it possible for councils to do as they please without proper consultation - hence the outcry and protests all over the place. I hold no brief for Hounslow council - I think they've acted disgracefully - and showed scant regard for residents across the borough, but quite what you expect Ruth to do I cannot fathom. |
