So why can these not be erected on the Tube depot site where there are already very high floodlights and a lot of distance from residences? Come to that the revenue for London Underground might cover some of the costs of keeping the trains clean. Adam makes a lot of points but really leaves one wondering whats the point. The system is flawed from top to bottom and the why's where's, how's and so on are clearly muddied ( excuse the pun ) and far too complex. 9 out of 10 times, the concerns of residents and the Public, nearly always dismissed for one reason or another and rarely ever considered get borne out to be exactly as feared or worse. It takes people who have a full understanding of Planning issues to pick apart these and then only people I can see being able to do this are Planning or ex planning people. I can certainly understand that from Adams perspective that he can only really sit on the fence and be negative if not at least enlightening, as he has a career to maintain, but for residents is kick in the teeth after kick in the teeth and they are the ones who have to live with the consequences. |
