Hmm, I was looking at the designation of this site again within the adopted local plan earlier and my apologies, I'm wrong, unlike much of the land along the Great West Corridor it isn't designated for employment or industrial uses, infact it isn't designated at all. It is identified for employment/commercial use in the Council's Great West Corridor Local Plan Review document, but that document hasn't been independently examined as yet and thus doesn't carry as much weight as the adopted Local Plan. Quite frankly it's a great site for one of my commercial clients, and I will be speaking to them about it, as broadly speaking it's more suited to another commercial use than residential, but I wouldn't be surprised if the big resi players are sniffing around. |
