| Yes, I believe the Friday night event won't go ahead. And yes, the fee will now go to the council (probably via the Greenspace 360 subsidiary). To keep parks open and maintained costs a lot of money. LBH has pledged to keep all the parks but we have to balance the books with a further £20M+pa cut in government grant to add to the £70M pa we have already lost. Of course, not having to pay Carillion's profit margin helps but there are still enormous financial challenges. |
