| What is so wrong is that the decision to just take the land has already been done and dusted without having the open and proper consultation process that local people are entitled to. Surely - like us here in Isleworth - the principle of just deciding to appropriate the land should be the starting point - what it is proposed to use it for should only be taken once that is established. Obviously the powers that be know what people are going to say so don't even bother, then they wonder why we get upset! |
