| All well and good, but totally useless until the lights at Busch Corner are also restored to their normal settings, predominantly in terms of the right turn onto London Road from Twickenham Road. This evening because the duration of the right filter is now so short and the bus lane is in operation traffic was tailing back beyond West Mid. I noticed too that some bright spark, just to wind everyone up even more, has installed what looks suspiciously like a camera on the right filter light, but this is totally useless if someone whizzes down the inside lane (to go straight on) and then dives into the no-mans land in the middle of the junction until the right filter goes green. Some idiot in a dark blue Astra did that tonight and then proceeded to speed along London Road doing at least 50mph before turning into Commerce Road. Stupid driving, but if the traffic lights hadn't been buggered up for no reason in the first place then said idiot might not have committed said offences. |
