| Dawn, if I may say, I do not understand your last post. Are you saying that the new developments (built over the last 10 years) have meant that you cannot leave your front door open and that drug abuse is now prevelant across the town? Really? Perhaps you are also saying that the new developments have caused the decline in the high street? You also say that residents of the new developments do not spend time in Brentford, going off for the weekend etc. So presumably they find a way to bring down the locality while also not being here. Clever trick. Except not a clever trick, as you note, given they are all here only to make money and making Brentford a worse place to live will not add to the value of their property. Hang on, this does stack up - are you sure you've got your logic right? As regards information on the link I posted or information on the meetings. These have been well publicised on this forum. That's how I found out about them. I'd agree the link is more publicity than information - but it does show the currently planned designs. This seemed to be the bit of info missing from previous posts. it was strange that this was missing as the new plans had been promoted on the TW8 web site, discussed on the forum and are very, very easy to find online. |
