| One wonders whether a "Clerk of Works" is ever engaged these days ... or someone more senior to ensure suitability and quality of the work being undertaken. I see a similar poor repair done in Clayponds Lane, close to the old "Pottery Arms" pub, where roadway bricks were uplifted for a repair, but very badly replaced. Who checks and signs off such poor work? |
