| The standard of the new paving that has been put down in rentford over the last few years also leaves a lot to be desired,particularly on both sides of the road going over the canal bridge.There are quire large gaps between many of the slabs and many have chips or cracks where they have been laid carelessly in my opinion.This is storing up problems for the future if we get a very cold winter when water will inevitably find its way in,freeze and expand and may well pop the paving slab up,likely making it a hazardous place to walk.The slabs that were there previously seemed perfectly fine and I wonder wwhy they were changed. |
