| Anne: I did indeed raise the matter with Dan Bowring, the Area Forum Chairman, before the start of last night's meeting and the matter is still cloudy in my mind ... and no doubt in many others too. Whilst I asked if any rebate of his Councillor Allowances was paid by Balraj, or whether he deserved any sympathy, I received no clear answer ... not in any devious way ... but there was no clarity. Dan did mention that there had been some disruption at the time of Labour Party's selection process ... to assertain whether Balraj was suitable or not etc ... but two members of that selection process had resigned ... leaving a freedom pass for the job for you know who. This is still not a satisfactory explanation you'll agree. I need to approach that Leader! If there's been a mis-appropriation of funds ... we need clearer responses from those in the know. I'm doing my best ... even at my age! |
