| I'm not sure that there were any candidates whom 'the leader might have preferred'. Have you any names? If referring to what appeared on Brentford Today & TV, I wouldn't bank on it having any truth. According to the same site, somebody who wasn't even standing (Marcela Benedetti) was going to be the candidate for Brentford East and Kauser Fadal for Syon and Brentford Lock. It ends up that Jennifer Prain is the candidate for Syon and Brentford Lock and Kauser Fadal for Brentford East. |
