It must be dispiriting to have a weak link in one's team ... and presumably have to "keep mum" about it. We never see weekly Reports on this Forum from the Brentford's Labour Councillors enlightening us about their activities or even giving us general information on matters or about the state of play on issues ...except in the case of Guy Lambert. If only we could have weekly Reports like those posted by Chiswick's Councillors. They're meaty,in depth, and leave Brentford's efforts lapsing badly. For example ... Guy would go to a meeting of Lampton 360 and say just that ... no feedback. Whereas Chiswick Councillors would highlight deep financial woes saying that Lampton 360 should be making a profit to feed back to the Council ... but apparently they need Council support! Where's the investigative detail reported to us. None. Guy would report that he attended a meeting of BRAG ... the Brentford Recycling Action Group ... no feedback reported except that they went to the Pub afterwards. There are lots of recycling issues to be addressed ... in my view. Can I suggest you read Councillor Reports, published on the Chiswick Forum, by Gerald McGregor, John Todd and particularly Joanna Buddolph. We are being shortchanged surely. |
