Occupation Lane is an Ealing road. The signs say so, the street lights are Ealing types, the road was resurn=faced and smoothed for better ambulance and patient access for the rehabilitation patients and outpatients. So Hounslow closed it and passed an permanent order with no public consultation. At the very least it should be made an access only route to the Hospital. That would at least save on the 10 to 15 min delays getting there which have manifested since the traffic lights at Ealing Road /A4 were completely stuffed up by TfL with both Ealing and Hounslow Council sterile in their efforts to sort a mess that now encapsulates delays well into the night and weekends. But in effect it's created a no-go zone for anyone other than those up to no good. Even the Police won't walk or ride down there alone - even in daylight. But this meeting will be yet again a load of ageist and myopic nonsense to suit ideals . |
