There have been plans mooted for the chapels for years, going back to pre-Covid times and the main stumbling block, as always, would be the costs involved in repurposing the old and neglected buildings. They are also Grade II listed so extra hoops to jump through there. With regard to the occupation lane junction, re-opening it to through traffic would reduce the opportunity for anti-social types to hang around there. Getting rid of the ugly ‘planters’/litter receptacles would be an improvement. Knowing the local Ealing councillors I doubt they’ve got any sensible plans to change things. |
