| I agree David. I cycled down to West Middlesex to look at another road works on Twickenham Road (which I believe is now finished) but going out there was a lorry parked blocking half of London road by the Field Lane junction with a man sitting in it and nothing happening on the ground. When I returned there was no lorry, no workmen and all that was left was barriers taking a chunk of the road to protect a shallow hole on the side, and the traffic lights. Needless to say, I wrote to Hounslow Highways and the traffic team pointing out this was ridiculous. You could easily have taken buses past in both directions (at the same time) without any concerns about it being too narrow. |
