I emailed Natl Highways (again) asking for an update and an anticipated re-opening date and received the following response yesterday:

"I wish to assure you that our team are committed to re-opening WR at the earliest possible opportunity and we're reviewing a number of options to be able to do this.
We will provide further updates to residents in the area on this issue as soon as we've agreed and finalised our plans.
I'm sorry that I can't offer more information at this time".

This year?  Next year?  Sometime?  Never?

Absolutely hopeless and hugely disrespectful of the people (us!) who are having to put up with this.
