| Whilst I certainly don't agree or can even fathom out Cllr Lamberts stance, at least he engages. It's those who don't and those who are even circumnavigating him who are pushing their own agendas along. Rumour has it that there are several councillors who are or were members of politically inclined activist groups like Extinction Rebellion. It may be true, or it may not be. But at the very least should this not be declared by not just sitting elected representatives, but also potential elected representatives. We all should have a clear idea of exactly where, who or what candidates are really coming from and really think. It keeps coming up locally in Ealing and Hounslow about some senior officers and some elected. But it should - if related to council decisions or policy be clearly declared. And that's Nationally not just locally. |
