Getting a straight answer from a politician is impossible. I was a journalist for several years and covered council business in a very notorious borough in east London, where the current mayor is a convicted fraudster but is somehow deemed to be a fit and proper person to be in charge.

Brentford TV is a bit hit and miss with the standard of what’s reported.

You might like Lambert’s waffle, but it is naturally biased towards things he suppprts and there’s zero balance anywhere else to counter anything he says. Interesting that he got a speeding ticket on Ealing Road recently. One presumes he forgot about the camera that’s been there for years and which the rest of us are careful around. Maybe it’s time for him to stop driving, as speeding is a major cause of motor accidents apparently.
