| The roads are already there and are used by plenty of other vehicles including buses, vans, lorries and, gasp, bikes. Probably escaped your notice that people keep their cars longer because the outlay is bigger, the quality of vehicles is better and performance doesn’t deteriorate over time. Interesting that TfL heralded average user numbers of 2,500 on C9 as a success. It’s a pretty poor return on the outlay. One would expect three times that number. |
