The view of the rise to Northfields station the north is completely disfigured by the same.
Similarly the view from both the River and Ealing Road is marred by the otherwise rather nice Royal Horseguardsman Pub.

In Portugal ( my only direct experience) these are considered damaging to the visual environment and local aesthetics and disguising and screening is mandatory as part of any application.

Why not here where older buildings and envisions are far more vulnerable?
