| Happy that your grandson enjoys the spectacle of demolition (children do, the machines are exciting), but the pictures made me sad. Not to bang on about it, but I do believe that in some - not all - cases it's vandalism. County Parade was largely unlovely, but the bank and Post Office facades should have been kept. But, hey... it's a 'project', remember? Who are we to stand in the way of that? I'm very sorry, but nothing is ever going to convince me that this is correct way to go about the regeneration of the area. It's utter pants. |
