| What about the amenity and public space that will be constructed on the site. It will give people a clear and pleasant access to the river from the High Street. The buildings are not even going to be that tall. 6 to 8 stories is not exactly canary wharf. Look at the police station, this is higher. Do you want this to be kept? Seriously, the comments on here against the development come across as bitter, sad and narrow minded. Look at what is there now. It's horrid, with nothing to offer society. Brentford is not the first place to be developed. It happens everywhere and hopefully with some good awareness and planning the public services will be reinforced and a success made of the place. It's happening, get over it. Being bitter will not change anything. |
