The demolition by Ballymore of the empty shops and flats on County Parade on the High Street is proceeding apace. We are privileged to have a great viewpoint over the scene, see for example: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chericbaker/49115800522/in/album-72157694208443154/ and preceding photos. Our young grandson is enjoying watching the "yellow dinosaur"chomp at the buildings! We are very impressed at the care and precision being used by the demolition crew, with no impact on the pavement below. We are also pleased to see that not only can you now park for one free hour at the multi storey car park (though it should be properly signposted!) but also the council is allowing visitors to park along the High Street for one hour free of charge instead of half an hour. Hopefully this will be helpful to local businesses. Brentford regeneration, bring it on! |
