| Sue saw my original plan, which was based in Feltham, Hanworth and Bedfont and their memorials as agreed and supported by residents. Sue then certainly took ownership to extend it to the other memorials across the borough, and secured funding via HH. Sue also arranged with the RBL to get the Poppies put up between Hounslow and Chiswick, while I concentrated on my area with my community volunteers. This is why, to some extent why our area has more Poppies, because I had provided 200 the year before. Sue certainly deserves, in my opinion, the credit for making a wider display possible which was beyond my capabilities, and we have received very very little negative feedback, which is why the post here was somewhat surprising and, I felt, needed correction and clarification. |
