Paul I had to join the site to correct your ludicrous statements, and answer your questions. a) There are just 2000 Poppies across the borough in total put up by this project. b) The Poppies were donated to the comunity by the Royal British Legion. c) In return I have personally fundraised £1111 currently, and Hounslow Highways have donated £4500 all of which is going to the Royal British Legion. d) Volunteers from the RBL and the local community put them up, unpaid, in their own time. e) They will be taken down, generally, on RBL advice, over the course of the end of this week, and the weekend, by some of the same volunteers, and new ones who were grateful for the display they produced across the borough. f) The are recyclable, and will be taken down, cleaned, and stored to be used in future years, put up but the same, and more new volunteers who appreciated them, clearly unlike you. I believe this answers all your questions, and addresses the exaggeration and mistakes you made in this post. I don't plan to get into a debate about this, I'm happy with the massive amount of support and thanks I have recevied for conceiving of this project, and for the impact it had on many residents in the borough.
