This also appears to be the case with the LBH 'regeneration' team”

I think the problem is that Brentford High Street has been a disgusting, run-down area  for years. It beats me how the Council has allowed the derelict buildings and run down warehouses on the river to continue. The people who own all those tired looking furniture  and removals warehouses should have been confronted by the Council years ago. It doesn’t matter what happens with the Morrisons site, the area will still look like a dump while those old High Street buildings / Warehouses remain. Not attractive at all. In fact  a  very depressing area to look at.  Since Ruth Cadbury ceased to be a Councillor, you have Councillors who don’t give a monkeys and/or will not oppose the party line. They will not stand up to the so called ‘regeneration’ team.

In the meantime Isleworth is fast becoming the preferred place to live with the new developments along the river where the old Nunnery used to be and the luxury apartment  complex going up next to the Town Wharf.  Isleworth is quickly blending and merging with St Margarets and, with just a short, pleasant walk along the river to Richmond or The Old Deer Park, it has many benefits.  Brentford will struggle to catch up.
