| Hounslow has a poor record of selling public land on the quiet and ignoring the locals. Brentford swimming pool is one. The poor design of the Fountain was raised by locals at the time and that was ignored as well. If the public are considered so stupid and not expert on such matters then why is it time and time again, there concerns and fears are borne out ? It's not often that they are proven wrong. When it's right, it won't provoke a reaction. But to assume the great unwashed are all stupid and of no significance is part of the problem. |
