| I've just heard from another resident that few houses in Grosvenor road, Lateward Road and Albany road have found a few inches of water appear under their homes. It appears to be ground water but quite why it is so deep is of concern. Most of the voids below the floorboards in homes in these streets is quite deep but if you can smell a recent damp or musty odour in your house it may well be worth lifting a board and taking a look. I took a look in ours this afternoon and it is damp but not flooded. |
