Introducing Special Measures suggests that all is not well, with bad practices, underhand shenanigans and mal administration... that needs to treated by taking away the tasks from locals and placing it in the hands of regional or area Officials. There are suggestions that some local Labour Groups have been under this control for some time..and for others it's a recent development. It's so disappointing to know this is happening in Brentford, Chiswick and Isleworth..but a disgrace to to think that it extends to Feltham. Cranford, Heston and Hounslow too! And they control Hounslow Council!! To think that Ealing and Southall are under Special Measures too..and one wonders what is it that we all ought to know ..in a frank way..what is going on under our noses. This is not a case of "tit for tat" sniping but a call for integrity which needs to be firmly challenged and exposed. Regular readers of the Heston Residents' Association Newsletter will know of the sharp practices seemingly being noted but with great restraint to say what the writer really thinks. The Slough Newspaper has an interesting article: http://www.sloughobserver.co.uk/news/slough/articles/2012/07/20/61186-exclusive-slough-labour-party-thrown-into-special-measures-after-membership-abuse-probe-exposes-flaws/ |
