The problem is that energy efficient boilers of the type that Hounslow council wish to promote passing a hugely expensive initiative this week cannot operate with low water pressure or fluctuating water pressure below .85 bar. So not only does your water pressure suffer but it decreases energy efficiency and increases costs for hot water and in many cases will render showers useless unless boosted with additional pumps which cannot work with all types of energy efficient boilers. |
