AS regards cost of cleaning uniforms it all depends on the nature of the work I think.You can claim a tax allowance from the tax bobbies.Have a look at Mrtin's Moneysupermarket and search for tax allowances. The point I was making about the house sales/reduction of union power was that Thatcher played the oldest game in town...divide and conquer. Owning your own home is the first sign that you have moved into the middle class and it made people think more about their own little world,the one that stopped at their garden gate.Did she not say 'There is no such thing as society,only families'or words to that effect? If people are split like this,they think less collectively and more on an individual basis imo. |
