| I was encouraged to note that Tory Cllr Todd finally shut up on this thread on the subject of Thames Water. An issue he obviously knows so little about and an argument he will never win while he continues to promote his unwavering support of the water giant and undermine the spirit of the community. I was therefore amazed to see that he chose to attack me yet again (yesterday) on another thread concerning the flood victims affected by Thames Water's problems. There is always one somewhere isn't there? In the case of Labour - its their spokesman, Robin of Southall, whose every utterance causes his party to shrivel with embarrassment. In the case of the Tories - its the behaviour of Cllr Todd which not only undermines the work of coalition partners Cameron, Clegg and Cable in their fight against uncurbed greed, it assures us that locally the Tories will retain only some seats on the opposition benches in Hounslow Civic Centre for years to come. These people have learnt nothing from their humiliating defeats. |
