| Steve In the interests of balance I should add that Isleworth's other ward councillor, Ed Mayne, was present at the MRLC meeting last night and the impression I gained from him was that he had a genuine empathy with the residents' concerns. Notwithstanding the very fundamental difference of opinion I have with his party as to who should be leading the process this would appear to me to be a real positive. I am determined to get to bottom of why the efforts of ICG councillors to deal with the Mogden issue during the last council were being so systematically obstructed. It would be truly ironic if it turned out to be a Labour administration that was to unravel the mystery. |
