| Steve I've seen the Hamsters at the Half Moon myself and would agree they are excellent. Did they come out into the audience against last night? That would appear to be their party piece. I don't know why Robin has such a problem with residents organising in their own defence against the excesses of a capitalistic enterprise which waxes fat on the misery of the local community. There doesn't seem to be a fag paper's width between him and the Conservatives on this issue. Fortunately the Labour ward councillor who was present at the liaison meeting did appear to have some real concerns about what his constituents were having to endure. It seems Robin's influence over the ward party is by no means complete and that his efforts to stir up continued division between the new councillors and a significant proportion of their constituents, whatever his motives for doing so, are being seen for what they are. |
