Syon is a very large ward stretching from St. John's Road in Isleworth to Ealing Road in Brentford, and up to the railway line. Despite being in Isleworth ward as Paul says, Isleworth Public Hall is probably relatively convenient to those living at one extreme, but practically useless to those at the other, particularly as those using them tend to be the least mobile. I hope they are going to come up with something at the Brentford end also, the previous councillors held two surgeries each month and Syon residents also had the option of dropping in to see the Isleworth councillors at IPH if this was more convenient. |
