Simon

My view as I have expressed previously is that they are all new and ought to be given a fair chance.  Just how long it should take new councillors to get around to organising surgeries is of course a moot point, when I was first elected I set mine up almost the next day but then I was representing a split ward and was obviously fired up by the presence of the "competition".

I understand Jason Ellar has been responding to at least some correspondence from constituents.  Whether he will be able to keep this up now that he is off to university we will obviously know in due course, but he is trying.

My advice when writing would be to politely imply that you'll go the ICG if you get no joy.  I reckon you will get a response soon enough that way.
