Funny, I knew you'd reply about how alcohol being a drug. Rightly or wrong I still percieve that having the occasional drink isn't at all likely to do me any harm, in either the short term or the long term. The occasional cigarette or illegal substance is, again in my perception, more likely to.
Not sure I get your point about sensible choice options, are you saying that by choosing to do cannabis you're making a silly choice ?. I don't feel there's any link between education and drug use, nor your financial well being and drug use, ultimately it all comes down to what makes you 'tick' as an individual.
Ultimately though I have to say it isn't a big thing with me, if people want to gradually kill themselves by smoking etc. that's their right.
