Personally, I'm very much in favour of each to their own when it comes to drugs.  No amount of research or education can shape a human's impulse to do something they like doing. I guess I'm incredibly 'innocent' in this regard, I've never even tried a cigarette, forget any other substance - I just can't get my head round the logic of smoking or doing drugs when common sense says they aren't going to benefit me in any way.  I drink, but rarely to excess, and can't remember the last time I went out with any specific intention to get drunk. Which all makes me sound incredibly boring, yet I'm regularly out with friends who do drugs of all classes, I actually feel sympathy towards smokers as I feel 2009 society treats them as 2nd class citizens, and in my frequent nights out clubbing there has never been a single occasion I haven't been approached by a complete stranger asking if I've got any e/tabs/whizz/whatever. I can't say I was brought up strict in respect of drugs, alcohol and cigarettes, my Mum smoked when I was younger and my parents always made it clear that if I wanted to try a cigarette I was welcome to do so.  Was always allowed a small glass of wine etc. with a family meal from the age of probably 12 upwards etc. Ultimately it's all up to the choice of the individual.
