| Adam I think you have unintentionally hit the nail on the head over this problem with your comments,I just can't get my head round the logic of smoking or doing drugs when common sense says they aren't going to benefit me in any way. I drink, but rarely to excess. The population of this country have been conditioned though misinformation not to recognise alcohol as a drug for a start, hence many of the worst anti drugs campaigners drink You feel sorry for cigarette smokers because they are being treated as second glass citizens the drug they use is extremely dangerous to themselves and others yet they are allowed to do it. I can get up to five years imprisonment for possession of cannabis, I can have my door smashed in by state thugs, and have my wife and family terrorised in their home. As they have been on four separate occasions. Three generations of my family have been put through this. What class of citizens are we. I rarely get stoned to excess and with out eating a lot one can't, if I did eat a lot I won't die or feel as bad as you the day after risking your life via overdose of alcohol. Your right about education or laws not stopping people doing what they enjoy but through education you get sensible choice options. Laws give you a criminal record and sod all else unless you include increasing despondency. Only the liberals at this moment seem to recognise the facts hidden behind the years of lies. |
