Try going there in the evenings. The ‘car park’ is empty. The evening dining was known throughout London in its day. Now it’s dead! People used to drive from St Margaret’s to visit the pub. Easy access up St Margaret’s Road from the A316.  Now it’s not worth the hassle of traffic congestion to get stuck in South Street and then try navigate the traffic chaos up Twickenham Road to go all the way around past Syon Park. The councillors who voted for this chaos need their heads examined. This was the most ‘unGreen’ decision for the Borough ever. Disgusting! Any Cllr who voted for the mess and now claims to be ‘Green’ is talking nonsense.
