| I have fought strongly for Waterman's future in Brentford, including serving 4 years as a trustee. No longer in my ward (it's in Brentford East now) but I have high hopes of a new home being provided in Brentford West, the ward I now serve. The planning has been delayed by a call in by the Secretary of State and a public enquiry. It has been approved by the enquiry but the delay has not helped. I do expect good news very soon next year. All the stuff punted round social media about moving to Hounslow (or anywhere) never had any substance. Steve Curran was determine to make it happen here, as have a lot of senior officers including the Hounslow Chief Executive. |
