| There are a few people who care and a few good local councillors one or two of whom are not well at present but still make an effort. Whether one agrees with some of the stances they take is another issue. There is also Brentford Voice which is not politically aligned and does it's best to bridge the gap between community and authority. Good luck to them on that. Having spent well over an hour stuck on the bus from Hammersmith to Brentford for the 7th time in 3 weeks and watching the chaos that is King Street and Chiswick High Road, it is quite unbelievable that such a crass unsafe and stupid design has been able to stuff up a whole district and beyond for a minority which can only ever be a minority. As a Cyclist it has put me off cycling anywhere but around my local streets and now seek any possible alternative route away from the insanity. |
