I find some of the cancellations totally ludicrous and, more to the point, inconsistent. The Book Group (presumably both of them) and Needle & Natter have been cancelled at Brentford Library this week while the library itself, as far as I know, remains open. I don't actually know the reason for the cancellations but what's the betting it's because of current events. Meanwhile the leisure centres stay open with all the splashing, fun (and income) that engenders. What is the point of these enforced cancellations? |
